Free-falling is a Choice

Celebrating the 4th of July today with mango, and beating on my tabla the Star Spangled Banner. Today incredible after a lunch of yellow dahl, and palak paneer with naan! I received word from Ruth that after this week I am free to leave Greater Noida and travel around India!
I have been praying that I could leave and that I could have time to travel. I love being here teaching, experiencing 2 cultures at once, (Indian, and Korean) yet during my stay in India I want to travel and see all the beautiful places!
In light of the holiday I wrote down 15 reasons why I love America. Traveling through different countries has made me have a totally different perspective on my own land. Yes, there are problems- yet I find that now I have become extremely thankful for the freedom and opportunities I carry with the title of my nationality.
The term "free-fall" is a falling body in the atmosphere that is exclusively free from the element of drag.  I have made the choice to be free mentally, physically, and emotionally from anything keeping me from living my best life. Not everyone in the world has this choice. I'm thankful for the fact that I do. That's something worth celebrating.  Happy Independence Day.
