Thailand here I Come...maybe.

Well,

This is my first post of many in which I hope to share my travels and life with my friends, family, and the rest of the world. These posts will be my thoughts unedited, and are for my own sanity as well as informing others on how i am doing.
Status on my travels: Still in Oklahoma. Am planning on leaving the 25th, Christmas Day to spend the holidays with my wonderful family in the Rockys. I am working on-call Christmas Eve, and working all day Thursday before the Eve, so Wednesday is my last official day in Oklahoma...which means I plan on having a lot of fun!

Today was a great day in sunny Oklahoma. I woke up expecting to pick up my visa at the post office, but it was NOT there! Priority mail promises it by tomorrow at the latest, but i'm just hoping it's not lost some where between here and Chicago. My passport visa has been a pain to try to get considering the consulate authorities are very skeptical of americans wanting to come into their country to teach long term. Trying not to worry about it, but worry comes anyway, with thoughts of..."oh gosh, what if i can't leave the country!?" I know God knows what's going to happen, so I can rest in that thought. Going for a run around the block, and enjoying the beautiful 65 degree temperatures!
